Enduring (Coulsty ex Yearbook) was sent off as the 5-2 joint-favourite coming back from a June 3 debut fourth tackling five furlongs at Great Yarmouth, behind the track-record performance of the subsequent Gr.2 Norfolk Stakes hero The Lir Jet, and obliged in style at Kempton over six furlongs for trainer Eve Johnson Houghton. Claiming an immediate lead after a slick get away, he was in command throughout and kept on powerfully under urging inside the final quarter mile to win going away by two lengths from Mitrosonfire, becoming the first winner for his Rathasker Stud-based freshman sire. The February-foaled bay becomes the fourth winner produced by Yearbook a half-sister to three Stakes performers and he is a half brother to Gr.3 Solario Stakes third Mr. Wizard. This is the family of Gr.1 Oaks heroine Forever Together. A winner at two, Coulsty was third in the Listed Prix Francois Boutin in his juvenile season. He improved further at three and won the Listed King Charles II Stakes and Gr.3 Prix de Meautry either end of the season. He also won the Listed King Richard III Stakes and was placed in the Gr.2 Hungerford Stakes. Coulsty is out of In The Wings mare Hazium, who comes from the family of the King Stand Stakes and multiple Gr.1 placed sire The Tatling.
