X Force Wins At Wolverhampton

X Force broke his maiden having been runner up on his previous two starts. The Son of Bungle Inthejungle chased the pace and, having taken the lead over a furlong out, was ridden out to defeat Dana Forever. Following the race Jockey Oisin Murphy commented, "there is certainly more to come from this horse and he will progress." His is a half-brother to a winner by Gregorian and they are the first two foals out of the six time winner Nafa (Shamardal) who was also placed second in the Curragh’s Rockingham Stakes. The second dam is the American Stakes winner Champs Elysees (Distant Relative). The colt was sold by Rathasker at Goffs Sportsmans where he topped the sale selling for €90,000. Congratulations to owners Qatar Racing, David Redvers and trainer Archie Watson. Nafa has a yearling colt by Clodovil that is catalogued in Tattersalls Book 3 2019.
