Living In The Past (Bungle Inthejungle ex Ayr Missile) was green when third in a five furlong maiden at Ripon on June 19, was the picture of professionalism this time breaking smartly to lead against the rail. Headed until halfway, the 5-1 second favourite took control there and saw off the Listed Marygate Fillies Stakes runner up and Gr.2 Queen Mary Stakes sixth Mighty Spirit to score by 1 ½ lengths. The dam, who has a yearling full-sister to the winner, is a half to Gr.3 Cornwallis Stakes runner up Outer Space, descended from the Gr.2 Matchmaker Stakes winner Horatia. Living In The Past was bred by Patrick and Ann-Marie Burns of Newlands House Stud and sold for 65,000 at Goffs Sportsmans to Joe Foley on behalf of Clipper Logistics. Congratulations to trainer Karl Burke – another exciting one for his team! Ayr Missile has a yearling full sister to this winner that is to be offered at Goffs yearling sales 2019.
