EMTEN a very exciting prospect for Bungle Inthejungle

Tattersalls Ascot graduate Emten (Bungle Inthejungle ex Lucky Leigh) was 5-1 for this debut, missed the break and was forced to race without cover a few lengths off the early pace. Making up ground with natural ability, the bay received one crack with Nicola Currie’s whip to gain control with 1 ½ furlongs remaining and eased clear of Top Buck for a 1 ¼ length success. The dam, Lucky Leigh, was fourth in the Gr.2 Queen Mary Stakes. She has already produced the speedy and precocious Something Lucky – a multiple winning sprinter who was Listed placed in Longchamp’s Criterium de Vitesse.

 

 

All previous five previous winners of this have gone on to show smart form, including last year’s scorer Emaraaty Ana who landed the Gimcrack. Her trainer Jamie Osborne suggested that she could go to the Listed National Stakes
