Listen In (Sea The Stars ex Es Que), who closed a two-race juvenile campaign with a maiden score at Maisons-Laffitte Oct. 27, had placed in the Listed Prix Rose de Mai, Gr.3 Prix Penelope, Gr.2 Prix de Malleret and in the Gr.3 Prix de Psyche. Maintaining a watching brief in third initially, she improved one spot along the back straight and was pushed out once seizing control inside the final quarter of a mile to claim a belated first black-type rosette with plenty in hand. Her second dam is Stakes-winning Gr.3 Prix Penelope third Bellona, who is a half-sister to Gr.3 Prix de Flore victress In Clover, herself the dam of Gr.1 Prix de l’Opera heroine We Are.
