Divertini (Clodovil ex Ela Tina) opened his account as an odds-on favourite is expected to do. He travelled well and outshone the field to score by a street. The Tony Byrne bred colt is a half brother to the useful handicap mare Miranda's Sister, who won six times in 82 starts and earned more than £92,000. Their dam Ela Tina (Ela-Mana-Mou) has produced another winner by Clodovil and is a half sister to four winners. The female line enjoyed a Gr.1 victory in Italy when Epidendrum landed the Gran Premio di Milano. Ela Tina has a two-year-old by Fast Company and visits Anjaal in 2016.
