Homebred Zhui Feng wins 2yo Tattersalls Millions Trophy

20 Sep 2015

The Amanda Perrett-trained ZHUI FENG (Invincible Spirit ex Es Que) was an impressive winner of the 10 runner £200,000 Tattersalls Millions Median Auction Trophy at Newmarket’s Rowley Mile today. Having created a favourable impression when losing his maiden tag at Kempton last time out, the Amanda Perrett-trained two-year-old showed he is a horse of considerable potential when quickening smartly to claim the six-furlong prize. The colt currently holds entries in the Group 1 Middle Park and Dewhurst Stakes. After the race owner John Connolly commented “We will see what Amanda says later but he can’t do better than he has done so far. We are absolutely delighted and he could be one of the best two-year-olds we’ve owned. He should get a mile. I'd like to think he could come back here for the Guineas."

We also bred his half-brother, the Gr.1 Hong Kong Vase winner Dominant to win a Tattersalls Millions Trophy. Zhui Feng is a half brother to 2015 first season sire Es Que Love . We are selling a Clodovil colt out of Aloisi, a half sister to Es Que in Goffs Orby – lot 32.
