Two year old double for Rathasker stallions

On Thursday Rathasker stallions had a two-year-old double across the cards. First to get off the mark was Rogue’s Gallery (Fast Company ex Melpomene) who scored at Ayr in the EBF Maiden Stakes. Having been placed on his four starts, Rogue’s Gallery made all and drew clear inside the final furlong. He is a half brother to the winners Triple Dip and Power Up, out of triple winner Melpomene (Peintre Celebre). Melpomene has a Clodovil colt at foot and is in foal to Fast Company. Bred by Martin and Christine Budden – Melpomene boards year round at Rathasker. Congratulations to all including Trainer Mark Johnson.

 

Then at Goodwood, In Haste (Clodovil ex Hasty Katie) came up trumps for Trainer Eve Johnson Houghton in the EBF maiden stakes. Bred by John O’Connor, dam Hastie Katie was a winner at two years also.
