Fast Company has a double over 7f

13 Jun 2014

Cafe Cortado (Fast Company / Gold Blended) recorded her sire's first winner of the day over 7f, at Yarmouth. Bred by Rathasker and owned jointly by Mrs. Theresa Burns and Mrs. Elaine Burke the filly took keen hold, made virtually all to win. Cafe Cortado was always prominent and kept on well to repel the challenge of the runner up - she dug deep and found more.

Archie (Fast Company / Winnifred) floored his rivals over a 7f contest at Haydock Park. Bred by Peter Kelly of Emerald Bloodstock, the 2yo is owned jointly by Kelly's wife Sabina, Tom Flaherty and Seamus Burns. Archie is a half brother to useful triple 6f-7f winner Kimbali and triple 7f winner Clement. He most certainly justified the market support and looks to be the type to hold his own in stronger company. His trainer Tom Dascombe said, "we have always loved Archie. We didn't want to rush him. We would be looking at something like the Superlative Stakes, that would be the obvious target, with another run in between."
