Royal Ascot Next Stop for Es Que Love

Es Que Love (Clodovil / Es Que) followed up his fantastic 2nd in the G3 Abernant Stakes (6f) with an impressive 3rd in the G2 Duke Of York Stakes (6f) on Wednesday behind G1 winners Maarek and Astaire. Clive Cox has reinvented Es Que Love as an out and out sprinter having previously run over 7f to a mile. Cox said, "it was a great run from him. We've over the moon and it was great to see him go and prove he is capable of performing at that level. He'll be Royal Ascot bound now. He's in the King's Stand and the Diamond Jubilee and both races will be considered." Most certainly one to watch for the 2014 sprinting season!
