Red Stargazer wins first time out at Ayr for David Barron

Red Stargazer won in good style on his debut, storming clear in the final furlong to beat the favourite Kommander Kirkup. He is a half brother to two-year-old winner Middleton Flyer (Titus Livius) and is out of Mujadil mare Autumn Star who ran once as a juvenile and is a full sister to the Stakes winner and Gr.1  Del Mar Oaks third Soothsay. The second dam, the unraced Rainbow Quest mare Second Omen, is a half sister to three minor winners. The third dam, the three-year old winner Shunaire (Woodman), is grandma of triple Listed winner Without A Prayer (Intikhab). The fourth dam is the Gr.2 Orchid Handicap winner Crockadore (Nijinsky).

 

Bred by Rathasker, Red Stargazer’s Fast Company half sister is catalogued in Tattersalls October Book 3 as lot 1646.
