Gregorian takes the honours Gr.3 Diomed Stakes

31 May 2013

Gregorian gave William Buick and John Gosden an Oaks day victory as he turned on the boosters to secure an impressive win in the Diomed Stakes. Buick flicked the switch on Gregorian just over a furlong from home and in the blick of an eye had pulled over two lengths clear. It was a fine win from four-year-old Gregorian, who was placed in two Group 1 races last year. William Buick said “This lad’s a good horse I’ve loved him from day one. He’ll progress.”

Gregorian is now set to contest the Queen Anne at Royal Ascot. Clodovil’s Gregorian was bred by Rathasker out of broodmare Threedaysinmay.
