Spring foaling season has started in earnest at Rathasker Image

Spring is on its way and the foaling season has started in earnest at Rathasker. To date we have six delightful babies; four colts and two fillies. We have a nice Exceed and Excel filly out of Welsh Diva who we bought at the Tattersalls December mare sales on behalf of Pat and Karen Doyle of Ballymooney Meats. Welsh Diva is booked to visit exciting first season sire Canford Cliffs. Lucky Leigh produced her first foal, a nice black Clodovil colt. The foal looks a sharp 2-Y-O type just like his mum who was placed in the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot.

The four Fast Company foals all seem to have the same strong physique of their father. The chestnut colt out of Anazah can be seen galloping in the paddock with his mum in our Fast Company video. The colt out of Es Que is a ringer for his brother Dominant who was sold by Highclere Racing in the Autumn of 2011 for over £1m to race in Hong Kong. He also can be seen going through his paces in the video shots. The young Green Desert mare Green Vision has a beautiful filly and the mare is now going to visit Big Bad Bob at the Irish National Stud. On St. Brigid’s day Golden Ora a half sister to champion Golden Titus produced a massive bay colt at 10am. To date we could not be more pleased with the first foals that we have seen by Fast Company.
