Brazos wins at Ascot for Saeed Manana

Saeed Manana’s Brazos put up a dominant performance to win a competitive seven-furlong handicap at Ascot. The Clive Brittain-trained colt travelled strongly through the race under a confident ride by William Buick.The jockey asked his mount to quicken into the lead with two furlongs to go and Brazos responded well to pressure.He galloped powerfully to the line under hands and heels to win by a length and a quarter. A son of Clodovil, Brazos was last seen finishing third behind French 2000 Guineas hope Muwaary in a handicap at Newbury.
